The 2023 Annual Meeting will take place on September 25–26 in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. It is the first Annual Meeting of AIIB that will take place in Africa. The Sharm El Sheikh International Congress Centre (SHICC) will serve as the main location for the Annual Meeting.

The Eighth Annual Meeting’s theme, “Sustainable Growth in a Challenging World,” underscores AIIB’s ongoing dedication to assisting its Members with their primary infrastructure needs and makes reference to the global agenda focused on climate change as well as the growing difficulties that its Members must overcome.
